  1. General

    Farburn Motors is an independent garage based in Dyce, Aberdeen. By booking or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms may be updated at any time without prior notice.

  2. Bookings and Appointments

    Customers are encouraged to book in advance for MOTs, servicing, and repairs. We aim to complete work within the agreed timeframe; however, delays may occur due to parts availability or unforeseen issues.

  3. Cancellation Policy

    If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Missed appointments without notice may also incur a charge to cover lost time.

  4. Pricing and Estimates

    All prices are provided in good faith based on the information available at the time of booking. If additional work is required, we will contact you with a revised estimate before proceeding. VAT, where applicable, is included unless otherwise stated.

  5. Parts and Warranty

    We use quality parts. New parts supplied and fitted by Farburn Motors are covered by a warranty, unless otherwise stated. Used parts or customer-supplied parts are not covered under our warranty.

  6. Special Order Parts

    Some repairs may require special order. If such parts are ordered specifically for your vehicle they may be non-refundable once the order is placed. If a booking is cancelled after such parts have been ordered, the cost of the part may still be charged to the customer.

  7. Payment Terms

    Payment is due in full upon completion of work, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, major debit and credit cards, and approved business accounts. Vehicles will not be released until payment has been received in full.

  8. Storage Charges

    Vehicles left on the premises for more than 24 hours after work is completed may incur a daily storage fee unless prior arrangements have been made.

  9. Liability

    While every care is taken, Farburn Motors is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles or belongings left inside unless caused by our negligence. Customers are advised to remove valuables before leaving their vehicle.

  10. Customer Property

    We reserve the right to retain vehicles until payment is made in full. In cases of non-payment, we may take appropriate legal action to recover costs, including storage and administration fees.

  11. Complaints

    If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please contact us directly as soon as possible. We will aim to resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
